One of the university’s missions is the development of scientific and technological research skills and capacities. This mission has a set of objectives including the promotion of “the function of scientific research within higher education and training establishments, scientific research… and<\/span> stimulate the exploitation of research results<\/strong><\/span> \u201d.<\/p>

Valuation<\/strong><\/span> _<\/span> (economic) within the meaning of the Law \u201cmeans any activity making it possible to make the results, knowledge and skills of research usable or marketable. ” Art. 6. Law 15-21<\/span>[1]<\/a><\/p>

To achieve this important objective, the Constantine 3 Salah Boubnider University has set up a structure specially dedicated to the economic development of scientific research activities. Named<\/span> UNIVAL<\/span><\/strong> [2]<\/a> . This structure, similar to the thematic research agencies in its organization and operation, is based on executive decrees<\/span> n<\/span> \u00b011-396 and n\u00b011-397<\/strong> .<\/p>

UNIVAL<\/span><\/strong> is an intermediation structure between the university and the economic sector; its missions are:<\/span><\/p>

\u2192<\/span><\/strong> EVALUATION<\/span><\/em> of the university’s valuable research capacities.<\/span><\/p>

\u2192<\/span><\/strong> CONCLUSION<\/span><\/em> of service and development contracts,<\/span><\/p>

\u2192<\/span><\/strong> SUPPORT<\/span><\/em> and MONITORING<\/em> of the execution of valuation contracts,<\/span><\/p>

\u2192<\/span><\/strong> PROSPECTION<\/span><\/em> of socio-economic sectors and ORIENTATION<\/em> of research,<\/span><\/p>

\u2192<\/span> PROMOTION<\/em> of the scientific capacities and productions of the university<\/span><\/p>

UNIVAL<\/span><\/strong> has the following bodies<\/span> :<\/p>

  1. An advisory body<\/span> : guidance and coordination council. Chaired by the vice-rector in charge of research.<\/span><\/li>
  2. A decision-making body<\/span> : board of directors, chaired by the rector.<\/span><\/li>
  3. An executive body<\/span> : the management of the unit.<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    Resources from service and\/or expertise activities are, after deduction of expenses incurred for the performance of the activities concerned, broken down as follows:<\/span><\/p>

    • 25%<\/span><\/strong> goes to college.<\/span><\/li>
    • 5%<\/span><\/strong> is allocated to the structure that performed the service,<\/span><\/li>
    • 15%<\/span><\/strong> contribution to the national research fund.<\/span><\/li>
    • 50%<\/span><\/strong> distributed to staff who participated in the activities concerned,<\/span><\/li>
    • 5%<\/span><\/strong> is allocated to the rest of the university staff for social activities.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
