data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Mediterranean basin is renowned for its natural diversity, but also for its pressing<br>environmental problems. The countries of its southern shore are particularly vulnerable to these<br>problems, because their socio-economic reality is full of difficulties directly linked to their<br>environment.<br>Besides the general problems: such as waste management, water and air pollution and their effects<br>on the health of the population, these countries have serious problems related to desertification,<br>deforestation and threats to biodiversity directly caused by environmental changes and having<br>serious consequences for their economies, in particular in the agriculture and tourism sectors.<br>Therefore, the strategic management of environmental changes will be essential to seize the socio-<br>economic opportunities linked to environmental changes and to minimize their risks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-792ecdc elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"792ecdc\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-no\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-ff733fe\" data-id=\"ff733fe\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-785c9bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"785c9bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Objective of the MEHMED Project<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5c6617b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5c6617b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The broader objective of this project is therefore to enable Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian higher<br>education institutions to develop and implement a new master&#8217;s program in the field of<br>environmental change management in the Mediterranean. Master Study and Ecosystem Building<br><strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">(MEHMED) aligned with the Bologna educational approach (duration 2 years).<\/span><\/strong><br>To this end, EU higher education institutions will transfer their knowledge and experience from the<br>corresponding diplomas to higher education institutions in partner countries and participate in the<br>joint development of a new curriculum in line with European standards and international standards<br>and the demands of the labor market in order to prepare students for the application of their<br>knowledge, skills and competences in the field of the environment and sustainable development.<br>The new master will adopt a multidisciplinary approach, thanks to the collaboration of various<br>faculties and the participation of graduate students from different academic fields. Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian higher education;<\/p><p>\u2022 Create sustainable means for safeguarding and management of environmental changes and<br>develop scientific strategies for environmental programs to ensure the knowledge value<br>chain concepts of the main program;<br>\u2022 Increase the mobility of graduate students and university professors;<br>\u2022 Promote online learning strategies through a blended learning approach;<br>\u2022 Strengthen relations between Algerian, Moroccan, Tunisian and European higher education<br>institutions and ensure the institutionalization and internationalization of research areas<br>related to environmental change through an inter-university association<br>\u2022 Promote the training of university teachers in the field of environmental change management<br>in order to guarantee the quality of teaching and improve the scientific profile of
