RUDN University Launches “New Day Education” International Journalism Competition

RUDN University announces the International Journalism Competition “New Day Education”, supported by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The competition is open to young people aged 18–35 who are not citizens of the Russian Federation and reside outside the country: students, postgraduate researchers, journalists, bloggers, political scientists, activists—anyone passionate about media, education, and culture.

The competition offers unique opportunities:

• Participate in an online school led by international experts (in English),
• Explore Russia and its leading universities,
• Develop your own media project,
• Win a scholarship to study at RUDN University.

Key dates:

Application deadline — until September 22, 2025 
Online school — September–October 2025 
In-person final in Moscow — November 2025
