The Center for Excellence in Writing, in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate in charge of higher education of the first and second cycle, is organizing a workshop entitled: ‘Artificial Intelligence as a Methodological Tool to Support the Preparation of the Final Thesis.
This workshop offers a structured reflection on how artificial intelligence can support academic work, especially in preparing a Master’s thesis.
We will begin with a historical overview of research practices, from classical methods to today’s smart tools.
Participants will explore how AI can assist in formulating research questions, building an outline, conducting literature reviews, paraphrasing, summarizing, referencing, and critical proofreading.
A range of practical tools and platforms will be demonstrated at each step of the thesis process.
The goal is to equip students with effective strategies while encouraging a responsible and ethical use of AI in academic settings.
